What are you waiting for?
“A man approached JP Morgan, held up an envelope, and said, “Sir, in my hand I hold a guaranteed formula for success, which I will gladly sell you for $25,000.” “Sir,” JP Morgan replied, “I do not know what is in the envelope, however if you show me, and I like it, I give you my word as a gentleman that I will pay you what you ask.” The man agreed to the terms, and handed over the envelope. JP Morgan opened it, and extracted a single sheet of paper. He gave it one look, a mere glance, and then handed the piece of paper back to the gent. And paid him the agreed-upon $25,000.”
At this point one will be wondering what was on the paper worth that amount.
This was it…
On the written Paper:
1. Every morning, write a list of the things that need to be done that day.
2. Do them.
This story simply illustrates what successful people do differently from others. They plan and don’t just leave their thoughts in mind, they write it down. The last most important thing is they DO IT!
Most people desire for success but are not willing to discipline themselves to do the things that are required to get them what they need. Their desires only remain as wishes. It’s not enough to dream, it’s prudent to pursue those dreams, to work the plan.
Whatever you’ve been waiting for may not come too soon, set out and go for it.
It’s your dream, make it happen!
