Blogging has tremendous benefits and here I will outline some of the advantages. I hope if you have not started blogging you may consider doing so after this. (I look forward to reading your blog)
As much as I believe in the power of blogging there is a caveat to it, it’s not for everyone and may not work for some others. But hey, give it a shot.

To begin with, you must focus on providing quality content, and writing in your own voice.

- It gives you a voice online in your field, carving a niche for yourself.(Blogging in a subject area you are passionate about)
- It helps you connect with other people in the world, a networking platform. A two way communication. You have the opportunity to join like-minded bloggers.
- It can be real fun (A sense of fulfillment).
- It frees your mind and sharpens you creative abilities: as you’ll be learning, researching and contributing, it enlightens you
- It is a medium to reach out to others, sharing your thought and expertise to help people.
- Platform building: Your blog is a tool to help you build your brand and authority.
- Big bonus: You can publish a book out of your blog. In fact most authors do this.
- It’s your tool for branding yourself, company, products and services. (Content marketing)
- Source of income: It can also help you generate income, via paid advertisements.
